چکیده

The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and usefulness human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) hyaluronan acid (HA) combination attenuate osteoarthritis progression in knee while simultaneously providing some insights on mitigation mechanism. In vitro, effect hUC-MSCs with HA treatment chondrocyte cell viability cytokine profile were analyzed. Additionally, antioxidation capability hUC-MSCs-CM (conditioned medium) towards H2O2-induced damage was evaluated. addition increased hUC-MSC secretion, such as Dickkopf-related protein 1 (DKK-1) hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), no adverse observed. vivo, intra-articular injection a mono-iodoacetate (MIA)-induced (KOA) rat model performed investigated. Attenuation KOA MIA-damaged seen best compared vehicle control or each individual element. Combining resulted synergistic effect, increasing therapeutic incurring observable effects. Therefore, combinatorial therapy feasible has promising potential ameliorate progression.

P 82: The Transplantation of Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Neonatal Strokes

Brain injuries that caused by strokes (result of intra partum ischemia) are a frequent cause of prenatal mortality and morbidity with limited therapeutic options. Transplanting human mesenchymal stem cells (hmscs) indicates improvement in hypoxic Ischemic brain injury (HIBD) by secretion growth factor stimulating repair processes (Hmscs) known as multi potent cells which isolated from bone marr...

In-vitro Differentiation of Human Umbilical Cord Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells to Insulin-Producing Cells

Background & Objective: Diabetes is a major chronic metabolic disease in the world. Islet transplantation is a way to treat diabetes. Unfortunately, this method is restricted due to graft rejection and lack of donor islets. Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCS) have the ability to differentiate into Insulin-Producing Cells (IPCs). In this study, Human Umbilical Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HUMSCS) were in...

Allogeneic Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Combination with Hyaluronic Acid for the Treatment of Osteoarthritis in Rabbits.

Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-based therapies may aid in the repair of articular cartilage defects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of intraarticular injection of allogeneic MSCs in an in vivo anterior cruciate ligament transection (ACLT) model of osteoarthritis in rabbits. Allogeneic bone marrow-derived MSCs were isolated and cultured under hypoxia (1% O2). After 8 weeks...

Hypoxia Preconditioning Promotes Survival And Clonogenic Capacity Of Human Umbilical Cord Blood Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Background: In recent decade, human umbilical cord blood derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUCB-MSCs) provide enormous potential for appropriate cell therapy, but they have limited growth potential and cease to proliferate due to cellular senescence, so providing a strategy for increasing the stem cell survival is necessary.  Methods: In this investigation, MSCs characterized by flow cytome...

Human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells ameliorate psoriasis-like skin inflammation in mice

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) inhibit the proliferation or activation of lymphocytes, and their inhibitory effects do not require human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-matching because MSCs express low levels of HLA molecules. Therefore, MSCs may be able to regulate immune responses. In this study, we determined whether MSCs could inhibit psoriasis-like skin inflammation in mice. After induction of pso...
